
Learning Outcomes
By completing this course, participants will refresh their knowledge and skills in Basic Safety Training (BST), Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF), Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB), and Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (PFRB) as mandated by the Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW). They will reinforce their ability to handle emergencies, perform advanced fire-fighting and survival techniques, manage rescue operations, and operate fast rescue boats. The course aims to ensure that seafarers maintain their competency in safety procedures, enhancing their readiness to respond to maritime emergencies effectively.
Focus Points
The course will cover critical components of STCW BST, AFF, PSCRB, and PFRB, including personal survival techniques, fire prevention and fire-fighting, elementary first aid, personal safety and social responsibilities, survival craft operations, and fast rescue boat handling. Participants will review the latest safety regulations and best practices, emphasizing practical drills and real-world scenarios. The program will provide hands-on training in emergency response, advanced fire-fighting techniques, survival craft and rescue boat operations. Special focus will be placed on refreshing knowledge and skills through interactive exercises and simulations.
Participants
This course is designed for seafarers who have previously completed the STCW Basic Safety Training, Advanced Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, and Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats courses and need to refresh their skills and knowledge. Participants should have a foundational understanding of maritime safety protocols and experience in emergency response procedures.
